The useful starting point is not a generic “best tools” list. Start with the connection or thread you need to make, then narrow the tool and accessory family that is documented for that system, material and size.
What “recommended” means on this site

The best purchase may be the one that preserves useful attachments you already own. A contractor with a compatible jaw, ring or die-head inventory has a different starting point from someone buying a complete system for the first time.
